Here’s a thought that I had many years ago that I haven’t shared until now…
Success is like working out.
What is the point of weight training? How do you build a muscle? The most simple answer is that you work your muscle until failure over and over again. Again you work yourself until you can’t do even one more rep, then you take time to recover, then come back even stronger next time.
So why then are we so hard on ourselves about our failures. With the right mindset, you can continue to bounce back and learn from your failures and take on the next challenge as a smarter, experienced, and humbler version of yourself. Don’t waste time beating yourself up. Acknowledge that you have failed and plan a different approach to be successful next time.
Never stop believing in yourself! Talk to you tomorrow 🙂

You said it best. This is amazing. Failure is a step up to success in disguise. It just takes a bit of effort and patience to see it.

It’s so refreshing to see I’m not alone thinking that all is about trying, and trying harder if you fail…

Thanks for the inspiring thoughts. You might consider adding a “Follow” widget from WordPress to your blog to make it easier for folks like me, a guy who is blind, to follow your blog. Best wishes!

Great perspective! Thank you for re-framing failure in such a positive way for us perfectionists out there.

Success is failure turned inside out. you try to fix a broken egg by using it scramble egg or toss it and pick another. You are so on point.

I love that analogy! I’ll use that one, unless you copyrighted it

Thanks for sharing – success is only achieved by trying and failing many times prior…learning what not to do helps us to achieve our success. Peace and blessings! 🙂

This is amazing, I love it!
It could also be compared to an all-you-can-eat buffet.
But that’s just personal preference, I suppose 😉

I relate things to songs and “Don’t stop believing” comes to mind. Very well put, thank you.

I couldn’t agree more. Failure is only failure if you don’t try again.
