Good morning!
I am sitting in the car about to enter the gym. I’ve spent too much time this past month excessively eating and not exercising. Just as important, I haven’t blogged in awhile or been reading and studying. Yesterday I finally took action to get back on track.
It’s amazing how once you neglect one part of your goals, the rest seem to fall in line right behind. I once learned the following lesson from Jim Rohn:
“Everything Matters”
Of course somethings are more important than others, but they all matter. As you can see, as soon as I decided to let my diet slide, my writing and studying stopped. My whole life was on pause in the same bullshit, ‘Tomorrow I will get back at it’ phase. I was able to stay focused on family and work, but I was losing my momentum towards my goals!
Today that ends. No more excuses!
Never stop believing in yourself! Talk to you tomorrow 🙂

Handsome I am so proud of you. I know it’s easy for us to put off difficult things, but tomorrow needs to be today. I am doing this with you so We can both be healthier.
I am so proud of for working hard on yourself. Your encouragement and example is helping me focus on my weight loss goals too.
I couldn’t ask for a better fiancé in the entire world. You can do anything you set your mind to. And if your mind starts tempting you with IDK a BK breakfast burrito 😉 remember: the negativity of the world is like water under a ship. It won’t sink us unless we get it inside.
I love you sweetheart!

Yep and amazing also when you give positive attention to one part of your life other parts seem easier

I am trying to get back to my healthy eat habits and exercise right now. Great words! Thank you for putting this idea for front in my mind again.

Totally agree, too often we get into the habit of thinking diets only start in Monday’s 🙂 I started keto last week so I really relate to this one !

I lost 20 pounds between April and Thanksgiving and put 8 pounds back on since. You are so right; I stopped logging on My fitness Pal, then stopped wearing my fitbit, and stopped meeting my friend at the gym. I need to stop drinking red wine at night because then I start eating and don’t want to get up in the morning.

It has been a weird year for me in terms of exercise and eating too. Thanks for the encouragement.
