You Can’t Force Creativity

I have spent all morning thinking of some thing inspiring to say.  I kicked around several ideas that we all terrible.  My commitment is to not send out some watered down nonsense just to have something to post.  I’m the future, I will move on with my day and wait for the creativity to come on it’s own time.

Then it dawned on me that this is exactly the message to share today.   You can’t force creativity.  If you’ve got something powerful to say, then say it at the top of your lungs.  If not, just get back to your normal life.  I’ve found that life has plenty of surprises to remind you of the real quality that you have inside you to share.   Just be patient!

Never stop believing in yourself!  Talk to you soon πŸ™‚

  1. To have a chance at change, you have to keep your place in line. Sometimes, the line itself becomes a vehicle, when people have to stay and deal with making life work. Silence is a good time to listen and read what others have to say. Make 2018 the year you have been waiting for.

  2. My notebook is full of drafts that I planned to finish… someday… but so far it’s the stories that just popped into my mind and I had written down in a few moments that have made it to publish…
You are so right! You can’t force creativity- just let it happen when it happens.

  3. My creativity comes from the well of life experience. I also tend to read a lot about anything and everything – always learning, so to speak. Knowledge is valuable but wisdom can only come from the school of hard knocks – Life. πŸ™‚ Just my two cents. Take care.

  4. I am not sure i agree with your conclusion — practice is important — that you sat down and wrote something after all is a huge deal — even if ended up being about how sometimes you don’t feel like you really have something to share!

Many people wait forever for that moment.

Thanks for the visit to my blog, and for drawing my attention to yours πŸ™‚

  5. I agree, although a lot of times, they say that if you sit and just start writing and force yourself to get started, eventually something comes of it. Like keeping the muscles exercised so that things become more like muscle memory.

At least that’s what they say. I sometimes find my favorite blog posts are the ones that just come out of me. An idea pops into my head and I sit down and the words just start flowing.
