How do you feel the night before you return to work? Do you dread going back, excited to return, or neutral?
When interviewing future candidates, they of then ask, “What is your favorite part of working here?”. My answer is always very simple, “because it is the kind of job that I don’t mind coming back to after vacations, days off, etc.”. It’s not just a cool sounding answer, but it is the truth.
If you are miserable going back to work, it is usually for a couple of reasons. One is that the workplace is not a positive work environment. The other is that the work is not fulfilling. Either way, it is your choice to decide whether you can change the circumstances or change your attitude towards them. Either way, you have the power to improve your circumstances!
Never stop believing in yourself! Talk to you soon ๐

I agree fully. You have to enjoy what you’re working for. I used to love my job until their doors shut. I cried so hard when they had shut down after 78 or more years. ๐ฆ

This reminds me of the Serenity Prayer: “God, let me accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference” The truth is that we are the only one who can make ourselves happy. Looking for happiness from outside yourself will only lead you to disappointment and possibly pain. Great post!
