Enjoy the ride!

Sometimes you are backed into a corner in life. Things outside of your control surprise you and you need to take action, even though in the grand scheme of things it seems stupid and unnecessary. What can you do at that point to get through with your sanity?

Just enjoy the ride. Once it’s been determined that it is necessary that you deal with it, just take the emotions out of it and do what needs to be done. Try to find a way to have fun with it. Challenge yourself to find ways to joke around and laugh through it.  You’ll be surprised what your mind is capable of.

Never stop believing in yourself! Talk to you soon 🙂

  1. Dan — I have had a lifetime of emotional ups and downs so I can relate very well to what you are saying here. I used to let things get me down but my life got to a really desperate point once and I never thought I would ever see another ray of sunshine in my life. But I discovered that there is something inside of each of us that recognizes situations and automatically begins to work from the inside (with a little help from something bigger than all of us on the outside) so that if we play our cards right, we can not only conquer our challenges but we can begin to look forward to the ones that are yet to come. The idea is to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves because nothing good or bad lasts forever and sooner or later all the negative clouds will be swept away in a process I call “The Cycle Of Life.” It’s kind of like the oceans that ebb and flow yet no person can know for certain where the individual currents go. The idea is to rest in the back of the boat and let the Big Boss up in the sky do the rowing for a change. Struggling is counter-productive in almost every situation I have ever encountered and only makes one sink deeper into the mire. Wait patiently and someone or something will throw a rope sooner or later and nothing is ever so bad that it cannot get worse. Great blog and I am bookmarking it for future reference.
