You can’t run forever… I’ve tried!

Life is about personal change and growth. You can’t run from it, at least not forever. Not if you want more in your life. If you want to stay the same maybe you can. But that’s never been the case for me.

Now if you are in a terrible job, or relationship, moving on could very well be the best thing for you. But after the second time, you need to take a good hard look in the mirror. If things continue to not work out for you. I know you think things will be different, but chances are, they won’t be all that different.

So get out of your comfort zone and accept the things you need to work on. Remember that if things aren’t going well, you need to change your actions, not give up on yourself and run away.

P.S… This post is certainly not about my fiance, she’s great! It’s about personal and professional growth and perseverance.

Never stop believing in yourself! Talk to you soon 🙂

  1. The secret of getting ahead is getting started- M. Twain
Extending ourselves can engage growth to talents we don’t know we even have.

  2. There is an adage that is quite frightening…you can run, but you just can’t hide.
What we do and how we do it, is who we are. So I feel the best thing is to examine ourselves first, to be sure we are doing the best we can. In a way that is best for all.
    Cool Dan. Rock on.

  3. You are so right Dan, that we can never hide from who we are. We only take ‘ourselves’ with us as we careen through life. So if we desire change in our lives, than we must make that inward change that will produce the life we want. You express that adage so clearly. Thank you.
